TENSION AT THE BORDER

(Border of Hungary with Serbia, 2015)

 

During the days of 8 and 13 of September of 2015 I photographed, in the small town of Röszke in Hungary, the intense flux of refugees crossing the border from Serbia. I also documented the train station of the capital of the country, Budapest, which was the main path to the next usual country that the refugees were moving to: Austria.

 

A few days later the fence built by the Hungary government was finished and blocked the access of thousands of more refugees.
